Last weekend I took off Friday to spend with the Suggie. We had such a busy weekend.
Friday- Went to crown Center with Alicia and Maya Lou to play and eat lunch.
Saturday- Went to my parents (Gammy and Poppy) to go out to dinner and then hang out their house for a visit and let them witness "Nakey Time". I know what your thinking... I am not part of Nakey Time, only the infamous Suggie Mitchell is.
Sunday- Went to church with Aunt B and Uncle G, ate lunch at Houlihans and went to the Antique Mall in the River Market.
It was a great weekend with great weather.
Tony got home from a weekend of "boy time" in Tahoe. After two nights of grilling outside in rather cool weather I thought maybe Mother nature would take it as a sign and start spring early.
But apparently that isn't the case.
Right now I am looking out the window at what the weather forecasters call "wintery mix". I call it a bunch of crap.
Can't wait for spring

My sweet valentine.....
Yesterday I got home to a great surprise of roses, a new comfy robe, a card and pot roast in the crock pot. Tony has been working part time at the hospital and had to work yesterday. It was a great surprise and I was so happy that i didn't have to make dinner.
Sometimes I feel like I am just going and going and going. Once I get Rylee home, we eat and then I give her a bath... by that time there is about 45 mins left to relax with her. I long for the day when I spend my days teaching her new things, playing, napping together and going on adventures to the zoo and park. I mean don't get me wrong, I know that being a full time stay at home mom is hard work, but what is the point of having kids if your not the one raising them. There are a few different opinions on this.... Yes, I am providing money that gives Rylee what she needs. I guess only time will tell and hopefully one day I will be able to spend it more with my Suggie.
As for now, I will sit in my cube and work work work.
Tony leaves for Tahoe on Thursday to go on a MANCATION. As for me, I took Friday off to spend a little quality time with my girl.

So long....
It has been way too long since I last posted. So much has gone on....
In September God gained another angel. Tony's mom lost her battle with Leukemia. Since then life has been pretty straight and arrow. Nothing bad, nothing good... just living each day with the routine we know.
I think Suggie has started to really acknowledge Tony's work schedule. She gets even more excited to see him when he gets home and asks where he is in the morning when she wakes up. She also loves Daddy's trucks and enjoys visiting him at the firehouse so she can sit up in the seat of the fire truck. We couldn't be prouder of such an amazing man.
Last night, after a 3 day stretch of not seeing Tony, we enjoyed some sundaes for dessert. After every bite Suggie would look at Tony and say "Thank you Daddy!" It was so darling how appreciative she was of the dessert.
I am so proud of my smiling suggie I just can't get enough of her.
30 mins to go... one more day of my work week... then my 2 most favorite days of the week.

"Show me your teeth!"
"Show me your teeth!" was one of the titles of a Lady Gaga song I didn't know. She belted out all of her songs last night in KC. With 14 costume changes and around 5 stage changes she amazed me and kept me entertained all evening. Her concert was worth every penny and I'm glad I went.

Electricity!
Last night our power went out. It was out from 4:20 to about 9:30. We undressed little "Suggie" and let her run in her diaper. Which I literally mean "run". It was as if there was a rule to being in the nude that you have be crazy. Her hair was sticking strait up from the humidity and she was bouncing around like a little monkey. Finally at 9:30 we decided that we should take a ride in the car. Rylee was having trouble going to sleep and we were both sick of sitting in the dark. Once we had her buckled in and ready to go the power came back on. It always happens that way! So we cranked the air and drove around letting our house cool down.
I just love this little girl.

summer!
Can life get any better. Everyday I wake up so excited just to see my suggie's sweet smile. She is growing so fast and learning even more. I'm scared about how fast the time will go. When she will one day go into 3rd grade, have her first boyfriend, her first prom, making a decision on what college.... it goes by so fast. I smother her with kisses everyday.
I wish I just had more hours in the day with her...
